Envisioning Somerset:
History Of Somerset:
Reflections:
- My photos share that the history of Somerset is still around.
- The people of the town have changed Somerset over the years, and also it naturally changed.
- I visually showed it in my photos by photographing the change in Somerset.
- I composed these photos by using the edge of the frame in my last photo, and I was at the Bower cemetery.
Photo Series 3:
Reflections:
- My photo series consists of the old and new bridge and one of the railroad that ran from Fall River to Somerset.
- In the fourth image I zoomed in on the bridge and used the edge of the frame and lined it up with the bridge, and then changed it from color to black and white.
Impressionist Photos:
Reflections:
The theme of my series is unsolved mysteries of old historical things. In my photos there are old items with some sort of tint or overlay to them, and it gives them the look that time has passed. In the photo of the house and the cement block, gives the message of time, and shows that this is a historical and old home, the texture on it could show that the photo might have been lost and found again over time. In that photo I used a dirt texture and over layed it onto the photo of the house, and I also lowered the brightness of the house layer. I used the edge of the frame and matched it up with the cement block. The original photo was normally really bright and with it darker it gives it more of a historical and mysterious tone.
